The Breathing Conifer is the culmination of Phillippa's work as artist-in-residence at the Royal Botanic Garden Sydney. Complementing this remarkable sculpture is Phillippa's jewellery inspired by nature and created from 22k gold, sterling silver, diamonds, topaz and other precious gemstones.

Bowen Mountain Community Arts Festival

The Bowen Mountain Community Arts Festival will bring many visitors to picturesque Bowen Mountain this weekend. Talented and respected local artists and craftspeople will exhibit their works at the exhibition.  This year's Guest Artist if Sandra Boronyak. All works are offered for sale. Local school children will show off their skills by entering in the very popular  junior competition in various age categories.   Visitors can cast their votes for the children’s art Peoples Choice Award. The venue, Bowen Mountain Park, is the ideal setting for the event.   Visitors will experience the magnificent mature trees, picnic lawns, and panoramic views to the city and central coast.  The organizers are offering a sausage sizzle between midday and 2.00pm each day.  Soft drinks will be on sale and free tea and coffee will be available.  Children are catered for by the modern children’s playground. Hawkesbury Show

This three day Show is the biggest event held in the Hawkesbury. It is the second biggest Show in NSW after the Royal Easter Show. The Hawkesbury Show is organised by a committee of very dedicated members of the Hawkesbury District Agricultural Association. Where the Country meets the City with fabulous exhibits.  Everything from the popular Animal Nursery to Show Bag Alley. Watch the magnificent Grand Parade on Saturday afternoon. Fireworks on Saturday Night and great entertainment all day every day on the arena. See the  Displays in the Philip Charley Pavilion of Art, Photography, Horticulture, Apiculture, Gemstones, Craft, etc.  Watch the Judging of Animals, see the chickens, goats, ducks, crafts, tractors, & machinery, roving entertainment; its all there for the family to enjoy. Close to Clarendon rail station and plenty off street parking available.

This unique heritage listed building is situated within the Wynstay Estate at the end of The Avenue, Mount Wilson. It was the one of the first properties to be established in Mount Wilson, as early as 1875, by Mr Richard Wynne who also established the Wynne Landscape & Sculpture Prize in 1895.
The building was in use for a few years for its initial purpose, as a Turkish Bath, but now partly restored it houses a museum of local history operated by the Mt Wilson and Mt Irvine Historical Society.
