Hawkesbury River Water Ski Parks and activities
As you may be aware The Hawkesbury is a big water skiing and wake boarding area, and as such there are many ski parks dotted along the Hawkesbury River where you can launch your boat and off you go.
Annually on the Hawkesbury River we also have the famous Bridge to Bridge Ski Race in November, as well as Bridge to Bridge Power Boat Race in May, and the Canoe Classic in October. All of these events means it is a very busy time in the Hawkesbury and on the river with lots of action to enjoy.
On a much slower pace, there is the Hawkesbury Paddlewheeler which runs a variety of cruises, including Sunday lunch and Jazz cruises.
At Wiseman’s Ferry, Leisure Lass River Cruises runs a variety of cruises which also allows you to discover our river at a leisurely pace.
Or perhaps you’d prefer to experience the Hawkesbury River with you in charge, in which case you may wish to hire a houseboat and from either Wiseman’s Ferry or Lower Portland…this is a wonderful way to relax, unwind and take-in what the Hawkesbury has to offer.
There are also plenty of places you can canoe, (bring your own), or you can hire a runabout from the local houseboat companies.
