Hawkesbury Ferry Timetables
The Hawkesbury has four vehicular ferries running on a daily basis. These are at Lower Portland, Wisemans Ferry, Webbs Creek and Sackville. These ferries form part of the regular transport infrastructure for many Hawkesbury residents, enabling travel to and from work, schools, shops and home.
Perhaps the best feature of the Hawkesbury ferry network is that it provides part of a great weekend escape from the city allowing you to cross the Hawkesbury River in one of the most pleasant modes of transport. Take your time to enjoy the natural beauty while you slip quietly across the Hawkesbury River on one of the four ferry services. All ferries are operated by the State Government and ferry trips are free!

lower portland ferry
The Lower Portland ferry is closed from 9:00AM to 11:00AM on the 1st Wednesday of the month. The ferry is also closed from Midnight to 5:00AM nightly.

Closed from 12:45pm to 3:15pm on the first Wednesday of each month.
