Take a journey into Australia's colourful past and visit the Australiana Pioneer Village in Wilberforce.

The Hawkesbury International Sand Sculpting Championship
Open Daily 10.00am to 7.00pm
For the third year, at the foot of the Blue Mountains, the historic town of Windsor is once again the home of the Hawkesbury International Sand Sculpting Championship.
For four days (from 26th December to 29th December 2013)
12 sand sculptors from countries around the world will compete to be crowned Champion. During these four days you can watch the sand sculptors in competition as they showcase their incredible talents creating amazing sand sculptures from 20 tonnes of sand each.

The theme of the competition this year is "The Lost World".
Judging & Presentation: Sunday 29th December 2013 at 2pm.
The competition entries will be on display daily from 30th December 2013 to the 26th January 2014, so you can wander through the event to view the sculptures at your leisure. During these dates you can watch a sand sculptor at work on our 60 tonne display piece, view our daily speed carving demonstrations or take part in a sand sculpting workshop and learn the tricks of the trade.
You can also vote for your favourite sculpture with the People's Choice winner being announced on Australia Day - 26th January 2014.
Children's activities, include sand art, sand bottles, giant sand pit, plus our new activities including sand pens, the sand digger and the Lego play zone.
Light refreshments are available on site at our food vans, or enjoy afternoon tea served by the ladies of the CWA; or your might prefer to take a stroll into the Windsor township to wander through the shops and enjoy a leisurely lunch in one of the many cafes and restaurants.
